NMRA LONE STAR SHOOTOUT

NMRA came to Texas with the inaugural LONE STAR SHOOTOUT over the weekend of November 13-15, 2009 at Houston Raceway Park - Baytown TX. MCOH attendees were recognized for participation : Cris Cruz 2nd Best 64-70 Mustangs, 2nd Best Stance - Chlee Green 2nd Dailey Driver - Jarred Hammonds 2nd Best Engine, Top 20 Mustangs - Darrell McBryde 2nd 94-98 SVT - Mike Davenport 1st 79-93 Mustangs, 2nd Race Car, 2nd Interior. MCOH members Ed Hockaday and Pete Sigwardt attended the Mustang Club of America National Board Meeting held Saturday November 14, 2009 in Dallas Tx. MCOH 2010 OFFICERS ELECTED - MCOH officers were elected at the November 15, 2009 Monthly Meeting. The Mustang Club of Houston (MCOH), founded in 1993, is dedicated to the preservation of Classic and Late-model Mustangs. The Club is officially recognized by the Mustang Club of America as their regional chapter in the greater Houston area. There are currently more than 175 members in the club with a high percentage actively participating in club events. MCA Presidents Award winner in 2008.

The club meetings are held at 2 PM on the third Sunday of each month at locations announced on this website. The club is a family-oriented organization that provides various events to promote interest in this American icon, ranging from car shows to cruises, motorsports events, and picnics. The Mustang Club of Houston benefits The Institute for Research and Rehabilitation (TIRR) as its charitable support organization. MCOH has donated in excess of $30,000 to TIRR since 1993. Saturday December 12 - MCOH HOLIDAY SEASON CRUISE TO EAGLE LAKE - Plans are being developed to attend the Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade in Eagle Lake Texas Town Square CLICK HERE for more information. Eagle Lake Texas is about 40 miles west of Katy. Further details will be posted. Visitors are always welcomed.

Saturday December 19 - MCOH HOT DOGS - COLD NITES- COOL CARS. Cruise-In to James Coney Island 5PM. After hot dogs and other eats we will go over to the MCOH Holiday Party location at GarageWorks of Houston for party set-up and decoration fun. Sunday December 20 - MCOH ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY Mark your calendar now to attend our fun year-end Holiday party. This years party will be held at the GarageWorks of Houston Showroom facility located at 15819 Tuckerton, Houston 77095. Map CLICK HERE. The party will start at 1PM with a great Holiday Luncheon (MCOH provides meat entrees - attendees bring a side dish or dessert etc.) After the luncheon we will have a voluntary gift exchange of car-related items brought by attendees with a value of about $15 each. You do not have to participate unless you would like to - It's a fun exchange where attendees get to select - then trade gifts around by the luck of the draw. We will then announce our TOTAL MCOH ANNUAL GIFT TO CHARITY and arrange delivery over the holiday season. Come join us for the great time and celebration of the season!
